Actually, the M1 guys will answer questions posed to them online (you will receive a delayed response -- usually within a day); but, as they say on the website, Mobil then decides which questions and answers they want to post to their board.

Looks like they are changing their website globally. They have also been taking a beating from competitors lately.

Do the other oil co. web sites have a question archieve as complete as M1?
Does any other oil Co. give as much info. on their site as M1?World wide.

Gurney,
Also there is a phone tech to contact with questions.

Maybe 99.999% of the population (including the people who work at Mobil) are not completely obsessed about motor oil, because they have "real" lives, and just about every question about Mobil 1 has already been asked and answered on their website.

I recently asked a question on their website and got an answer.

I asked if their Mobil 1 EP was certified to the GM "Corvette" standard, they said it was, although it is not listed on GM's website or on the bottle.

For M1 EP 5w30 they don't list the Ford, GM, or Chrysler certs on the Mobil 1 website, but they are listed on the bottle (but the GM "Corvette" spec is not listed on the bottle). Same on 1 quart and 5 quart jug.
