Who actually buys multiple single quarts at those prices when it is so much cheaper in the jug? In fact I never buy single quarts even though my Corvette has a 7 quart capacity

Probabaly 90% of the DIYers i know sadly. They all say "its so much easier"

Why would I buy THAT when I can get 5 QTS of Valvoline Restore & Protect in a JUG for $6 a QT. Mobil are you crazy. What a stupid marketing move. Oh wait, they tried to pawn off their $49 a jug oil 7 years ago when top level oils were $23 a jug. What................ same marketing guy running the show AGAIN?

My AAP has 5 qt jugs and quarts.

OP There’s already 3 other threads with my sample posted.

1.) One should not waste money buying oil at anywhere else but Walmart, unless boutique.
2.) What will an oil test tell us about it cleaning ability?
3.) the 100% claim is pretty bold, as was Valvoline:

People say it was like that with Valvoline Restore and Protect too. Initially it was available only at AAP and we know oils are not cheap there.

Probably companies try to make top dollar at the initial batches, before they start offering it at Walmart at more decent price.

They too have some magic elixir in their oil like Valvoline Restore and Protect that doesn't show up in a used oil analysis report.
