25k oil is just like "lifetime tranission fluid".You have the wrong forum buddy.
Here they buy 25k oil and dump it at 3k to 5k
If your order button the Walmart and pick it up at the store, it’s another $3 off, plus you get $4 Walmart cash. Makes it equivalent to $21.97.
Mobil 1 Advanced Clean is a 20,000 mile oil, if you dare.25k oil is just like "lifetime tranission fluid".
Check the app. A few days ago they had $4 Walmart cash (edit: I see the Walmart wash was mentioned above) to go along with the $3 rollback. There’s also a $10/5qt rebate if you feel like submitting it.Just bought a bottle on rollback with $3 Walmart cash as well. For $22/5 that’s not too bad.
First there was Valvoline Restore and Protect and now the empire strikes back. Personally I wonder how many of us actually have the problem that these oils claim to solve. My guess is not many.
Just stating that it does contain PAO. You never mentioned viscosity. Wouldn't want people be misinformed about the oil.Too thin for my taste
Most users focus on the Valvoline Restore and Protect cleaning ability but the wear protection is quite good .Given how well Valvoline Restore and Protect has performed, I don't see a reason to pick the Mobil over it currently.
I just changed my 2020 Tacoma over to Valvoline Restore and Protect and it quieted down my engine immediately. I was surprised. It always kids sounded like a baby diesel kinda to me in a way lol. Now it's much quieter.
Nobody was going to pay Advanced prices - Walmart barely got started and the strait pandemic hit - low supply …There have been 1,000s of testimonials on multiple auto forums/vlogs from people who had some sort of oil consumption (from 1.5-5.0 quarts/5K miles); did the minimum 4 OCIs with Valvoline Restore and Protect and substantially reduced/eliminated oil consumption.
It's been 2+ years since Valvoline Restore and Protect came out. There was evidence of varnish removal, carbon removal, quieter engine operation, increased fuel economy, better engine response, etc almost immediately.
Now that Mobil 1 Advanced Clean has been out almost 6 months, I'm waiting to hear/read/see similar results for what "advanced clean" is supposed to do.
How much was Advanced MSRP?Nobody was going to pay Advanced prices - Walmart barely got started and the strait pandemic hit - low supply …
How much was Advanced MSRP?
Low-mid $30s (5 qts) is the range for Valvoline Restore and Protect & people are buying it.
Mobil 1 Advanced Clean is also rated for 20K miles, which isn't far off Mobil 1 Extended Performance (25K) & its price.
Mobil 1 Advanced Clean was launched in Sept/Oct 2025.
If you're a global company doing a new product launch, manufacturing/processing would have started at least 3-6 months earlier for inventory build up so SKUs can hit the shelves within weeks.
The strait situation didn't start until March 2026.
That's 4 months of potential observations that I haven't heard/read/seen.
Maybe Mobil 1 Advanced Clean doesn't work as effectively as they claim, or as fast as Valvoline Restore and Protect does?
I did read that some of Mobil 1 Advanced Clean advertisements had to be pulled for false claims.
That’s some good, clean fun for the entire family!I just ordered two online with free delivery and ......
You saved $6.00 and you'll get $4.00 in Walmart Cash!
I'm Happy!
A lot of oil at Walmart is showing low stock from Supertech to Mobil 1, to Castrol, etc, my Walmart was out of stock on a lot of oil, due to the war causing shortages. That oil never made our Walmart - on the main website they showed low stock - then ordered a couple shipped to me …

Not sure it you would want it after 3k.. may not be purple anymoreI would like to find someone who changes their Royal Purple at 3K miles. I'd help them drain it, then I'd put it in one of my cars.
