Mobil 1 Advanced Clean game on at WalMart.

Hey buddy thanks for pointing that out!! No way I'd be running any oil to 25K, or even 20K for that matter. But that oil seems to be priced well at the moment and probably worth a try, especially for those looking to stretch their OCI.

Time to crawl back under my rock, and hide!
******!!!!!!!

No Valvoline Restore and Protect at my Walmart (sold out - large empty shelf spot) while Mobil 1 Advanced Clean was totally stocked on the shelf - no one’s buying it?
It’s a marketing game. Trying to push the Mobil product
At Walmarts where I live Mobil oils are always in the beginning of the motor oil aisle.
So, that's that. They definitely have priority anyway.

Given how well Valvoline Restore and Protect has performed, I don't see a reason to pick the Mobil over it currently.
I just changed my 2020 Tacoma over to Valvoline Restore and Protect and it quieted down my engine immediately. I was surprised. It always kids sounded like a baby diesel kinda to me in a way lol. Now it's much quieter.

Sign at the entrance of WalMart. Putting some effort into marketing this oil.

Funny, Walmart did the same with Valvoline Restore and Protect came out

I like the fact that Mobil 1 Advanced Clean has PAO, and Mobil 1 Extended Protection does not. Just my personal preference before steering debates 😀

Thanks for posting this. I just ran out of Valvoline Restore and Protect and ordered 3 jugs of Mobil 1 Advanced Clean to have on hand to try out. I've been buying Valvoline Restore and Protect 3 jugs at a time for a few years now for the fleet in my sig.

Forgive me if it's been noted, but Mobil 1 Advanced Clean is Dexos1 Gen 3 "licensed" in 0w20 and 5w30 flavors, but not 5w20 for what ever reason. I know many on GM boards I frequent get all fluffy over using Valvoline Restore and Protect because it's not Dexos1 Gen 3 approved.

The 0W-20 and 5W-30 is the same with other brands …

I'm sure the Valvoline Restore and Protect in 5W-30 with a HTHS of 3.2 is a bit thicker than the Mobil 1.

Its definitely irrelevant if you dont have a GM. The Dexos is just a label of a oil having a vasectomy of material. I will probably add a bit of Schaeffers 132 EP Moly to null the Dexos and up the hths ante.

It's now $25.97 at Walmart, plus you get $4.00 Walmart cash back and can also apply for $10.00 rebate.
Mobil 1 Advanced Clean looks better to me that Mobil 1 Extended Protection at this price.
was there a $10 rebate from Walmart / Mobil 1? recently bought 4 5qt bottles to try on my Lexus
