Segfault, What mileage did Blackstone use for the "universal average" that they gave on your report?

Yes, where did the barium come from?

I know of no OTC oil using barium; generally this is used for particulate control in Electromotive diesel engines.

I have no idea what mileage they used for the universal averages. The report doesn't say. I may ask Terry about it when he does the interpretation. Due to the relative rarity of the VR6 engine, I would guess that the universal averages might have been derived "from scratch."

I think the "average" would be in the ballpark of 2-5,000 miles.

Great report, even though the crankcase is pretty big. The lead is almost too low to be right

Holding grade real well.

What is the code to keep the things in a column??? I forget

The two columns at the bottom are are opposite at the bottom. Barium looks like it is 0 to me.

Duh - I answered my own question - after reading the excellent post on the compilation of virgin M1 analyses. Yes 117 ppm B is normal.

Maybe the 17 PPM of Ba universal average is what is being questioned??

Thanks! I'm almost sorry that I put in the Amsoil S2K 0w30 I had in my garage, but unless it does something spectacular, I will probably go for the M1 next time.
