got 6 qts given to me by a friend. Which vehicles can i run this in besides Euro cars, none of which i own. A woman who i do oil changes for has a 2012 Kia Optima, non turbo, 2.4 direct injection. Ive been running Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5W30 at 4k ocis, would it be ok to run this oil or would it possibly hurt the warranty? How would it hold up to fuel dilution, being a DI engine?

I wouldn't do anything you could be liable for to someones car unless they were family.
either use the 0w40 in your Tacoma or pass it on to a friend with a engine that specs vw502

I can't see that oil hurting anything in her car, but those 6 qts would be ideal for your Tacoma. That's where I would use it for at least a 7500 mile run. Why only running Quaker State Ultimate Durability for 4k miles? Seems like a waste. Is that non-turbo DI that hard on oil? Seems like conventional could handle 4k miles. Or is she doing a lot of short trips?
think it wld be ok for my tacoma? i wouldnt want to use it, again, for warranty purposes. currently using valvoline synpower 5W30 for 4.5k ocis in the tacoma. reason i use the synthetic in her car is to protect against fuel dilution,she does alot of short trips,and its only $20 for 5 quarts at wal mart.

Then why put it in that womens car? it would be against the warranty for her too.

i just thought it would combat fuel dilution better, and isnt that the oil thats known to shear to a 30 wt after a few thousand miles? i would run it in the summer in her car.
Maybe sell it at a great price to me...LOL
I'd run it in your Tacoma. Everyone seems so scared of playing with different weights but I've done it countless times with no issues at all, not once. I don't suggest it, but I've run different weight oils in cars still under warranty at times.
