Anyone using Mobil 1 0W-20? I read through about 20+ pages of UOI and found a little info. I have difficulty using the search engine :(.

I would love to use Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 but no one stocks it, and a special order is expensive. The only 0W-20 available in my neck of the woods in M1. I'd be interested in user feedback.

Thanks,
Frank D

I've never used it but i'm sure you'll be just fine,it's a great
oil at a good price,i use the 0w30 and love it,have no complaints
at all, what application you putting it in??

Was on the fence about putting it in an 08 Jeep. I spoke to the dealership service manager who seems to know what he's talking about and he suggested I try it next OC. It was his understanding that it meets or exceeds 5W-20 requirements. Wish I could get the Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 locally!

This service manager is in the know (at least he appears to be), and stated the 0W-20 oils give better mpg and wouldn't void the warranty, because they exceed 5W-20 specs. He also stated that Jeep would probably be changing the specs in the near future.

if the jeep specs a 5w20 you'll be fine with the 0w20,i wouldn't
worry at all,it's still a 20w warm, and your getting the better
start up protection from the "0",,win,win...

I've used Mobil 1 0W20 since the first oil change in a 2004 accord 2.4l. Your engine will be just fine, go for it.

I've used Mobil 1 0w20 in my Mazda with good results. I switched over to Amsoil 0w20 because Mobil stopped making the 0w20 for a while, and it was hard to find. I also wanted to extend my OCI, and thought the Amsoil oil and filter would be better for that.

My dad has been running it in his '03 Town Car, has been quite happy with it. Engine still looks nice and spotless when looking through the oil filler.
