I have a 2000 Ford Conversion van with a 4R70W transmission , with 7000 miles on vehicle ..
I have bought an oversize aluminum finned transmission pan with drain plug I intend to put on ... I can't seem to find a drain plug on the converter to drain all the oil out of the transmission .. I have bought some Pennzoil Synthetic Bended Mercon V for the transmission , I figured the Synthetic BLEND might help to drop the temperture a bit , BUT my concern is mixing the Pennzoil Synthetic BLEND with the factory transmission oil...I usually tow heavy when I tow .... any comments >>> thanks Larry B.
