Mixing MTL-R and MTF Glide

Is this a feasible option for a bit better cold weather shifting? I know some one will recomend the MTL-P but it actually has a higher viscosity than MTL-R at 0F when I put the numbers into a viscosity calculator. Or, could I mix the MTL-R with Synchroglide? Are the add packs/base fluids roughly the same with MTF Glide and Synchroglide?

My other option is the new Amsoil MTG as it is quite a bit thinner at 0F than MTL-R and MTL-P, but I really don't want to pruchase 3 quarts and find out it shifts like poo, as MTL-R is fine. Thanks for any info.

I'd wager that he'll mix a fluid for any visc you want. Thats the benefit of a "boutique" blender. So, don't bother mixing bottles yourself, just create a spec and ask if you can have a gallon blended that way.

But, if your a mixaholic like some that frequent this website, go ahead and mix away. Gotta run, measuring cups and funnels are talking to me gain.
