I bought this on Amazon to drain the ATF from my transmission before I do a cooling line flush. No real need to drop the pan. There are alternative ways, but what the heck, I wanted it.

The spare suction tube bracket was broken on one end and the bolt no longer held that end. I contacted MityVac (via email) and they said they do not deal with the general public and to return it. The part is maybe $1.00 and no one would end up with a used/dirty MityVac. But Amazon pays the return postage, so what the heck, it goes back for a replacement.

I am concerned about getting needed parts in the future.

This is just dumb on MityVac's end.

That's moronic. With the DIY following they have to date, a competitor could scoop that market by offering better customer service.

And, who do they think they're selling so many of these to? Garages?
