I like Mitsubishis. I have one. They make underrated vehicles. The Mirage is a car that is waiting for the NA market to catch up to it. If EVs falter and the price of gas keeps going up, this car makes sense. Not until then.

But is always more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. 🚙

3000gt this is more like a 300gt 76hp and 74 torque (max)

I actually looked at one to replace the 2010 accent before we got the 2020 elantra..

Stupid car dealer idiots botched that. they wouldnt budge off 11k for it.
I offered 8k IIRC.(not counting trade in)
oh you have trade in we can do it 9500 out the door ..
uh but thats still 11k

Couple days later they were down to 8k with trade in. but tax title fees etc took it somehow back to 9500....
I told them they had 1 more try to get this right or I'd likely be heading next door to the hyundai dealer since
she likes hyundais.

I think they took $250 off

We bought the 2020 elantra stickered about 22k 15.5 out the door. (from memory)

They called back a few more times I didnt even pick up.. so they texted me.. I texted them back a pic of the elantra.

Well, the mpgs might as well be a hybrid or an electric. They have the monster warranty. They have a bunch of airbags. The hatchbacks are pretty presentable looking.

A young person just out of school working his first real job can get one of those and have low and predictable cost transportation for 7 or 8 years.

The whole thing seems pretty reasonable to me.

A few years ago an new MIRAGE w/ 5 speed manual was under $10,000 . Very tempting . Has anti roll back . The Mirage and G4 have a 6.3 inch ground clearance . More than a Subaru Impreza .

Looks better but I'm not sure if I would rather have the hatch version.

Manual trans is still only on the base model.
