I just bought a Rebuilt cardone wiper motor for my van and when i took it out of the box it looked like a cheap rebuild and when i mentioned it to the parts guy he told me that cardone got really bad in the last few years i told him that i know that i dont use anything made by them in my customers cars unless we needed it rite away and i needed this wiper motor today.. Well the first one i got did not work and the second is so noisy that on Monday when i can get a quality part i will return it...

I installed a A1 Cardone rebuilt rear caliper. Within 15k miles, it went out of order. RockAuto gives you a one time replacement so they replaced it, other than the return shipping that I had to pay for on the old one. It's still on the car but I would not recommend it either, from my personal experience. Another problem is the rust on them, which is more rust than I have on my OEM 12 yr. old front calipers. They def. suck!

What new Chinese part it seems that the easiest part to get is cardone and they are the absolute worse parts in my opinion..
I informed everyone in my shop that unless there is no way of getting another part NEVER put in one of those

I don't know when they used to be good, but they were garbage when I worked at a parts store back in the mid 90s.

I've never had a problem with their CV axles or the power steering pump I bought for my Accord, time will tell though.
