*Florida Jet RC-Event...PLEASE READ...and pass along to your contacts!

Do you have any or know of any friends that will be
attending the RC Jet show in Lakeland Florida call
"Florida-Jet" this April 23rd and 27th.

My reason for asking...even though his wife sold all 15 of his Jets and Planes and top of the line equipment that equaled thousands, and thousands of dollars I feel (if) my brother is alive (I pray) and is in Florida it would be pretty tough for him not to attend a few days of this RC-Jet event. I'm on the edge of booking a flight down there myself but if you know of anyone that was going to attend maybe they could print out a few pictures/info from the NJ
Missing Persons website and hand it to the person at check inn just incase my brother may show up there. I
found out from the shows Promoter that there's only one way in and out at the field location> (Linder
Regional Airport). Between 500-700 people a day Thursday-Friday, maybe twice that amount Saturday
Sunday.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe contact the police department down there and someone from the department could be kind enough to do it? Worse comes to worse, maybe hire a Private Investigator in Florida for that weekend? Good luck in any case and keep us posted.

Sorry to say nothing has come up at this time. Last monday I meet with detectives from NJ State Police as well as Mays Landing NJ and went over more details. For my brother not to contact me after one week let alone 7 months leaves a sick feeling in my heart, we were very close and saw/spoke to each other weekly.
There is another event at that same air field April 23-27...keeping my fingers crossed.

If you suspect he is out there somewhere, why would he not have contacted you? If the two of you are close he surely knows you are looking for him.

That's just it...I can't think of any reasons why he wouldn't have called by now. Unless something may have happened to him.

Also, his son was at the last RC Jet event last weekend. Dan Jr handed out almost 70 flyers with his fathers pic and info from the missing persons add. Everyone there was very concerned and helpful. Sadly nothing came of it thus far. We really had hoped he(Dan Sr.) would have attended the event.
Guess time will tell.

Just over one year now and still no word about my brother...friends and family feel the detectives researching (or lack there of) are just sitting on their hands.

Sorry that you're still coming up with nothing. I would never give up hope, but would surely prepare myself for the worst.

I really can't begin to identify with what you're going through. I hope I never have to face something like this.

You have my deepest sympathies and my hope that this is just an estrangement and not a loss.
