Has anyone considered this? I did not see in the listing what size M18 battery it requires. Which will be even more $$ if you don't have one already. Seems expensive for a device with no battery.

But if Trav recommends it then I will have to buy one. 😁

I considered it but the GOOLOO or other (non M18) jump packs offer an acceptable solution for a fraction of the cost, and the battery is included.

My platform is Milwaukee but I agree that my Gooloos are a better option even with my extra M18 batteries on hand. My most recent M18 tool purchase was their Model # 2848-20 Tire Inflator that is fantastic. I picked up on sale at HD. That replaced a Craftsman unit from the 90’s that finally gave up the ghost.

I'm all about Milwaukee, but not this product. I have a 1600w Dewalt with a gel 12v battery inside and it works fine.

I have a lot of M18 stuff but this tool makes no sense to me so I don't own this one.
The LiFePo jump packs are dirt cheap and they work.
PLUS, with an M18 battery and 2 pieces of coat hanger there are some utube guys jumping cars directly from the M18 battery...no jump box needed.

There seems to mixed reviews of these capacitor jump starters, the biggest complaint being short cranking times. I have the Gooloo 4000 and it has been a good well made unit, I will buy another when the time comes.

Why? Just the battery and some engineering works just as good. On a 130a load tester it only drops to 12 volts. Learned it from tiktok

Hard pass. I like Milwaukee but it seems that as of late they’re making tools they probably shouldn’t be making. I thought their outrageously priced chainsaw took the cake till I saw this.
