Mighty Guard II, #M-4612 CUT OPEN, 8,500k

Greeting again folks. This filter was on a 2012 Altima of my moms friend that lives near me. Car has only 35,xxx on it. Oil was PYB 5w30 and this filter. Doesn't seem bad to me. Also, filter was made on June 2, 2015 and Line "E" and on 1st shift in Fayetteville NC. Enjoy the pictures folks

A Purolator Classic clone that looks like it was trying to tear, but didn't. Looks good for 8500 miles, though. How's the media-could it be torn easily with finger pressure at the base.

Bullwinkle: the media felt tough, like it could not be torn but I didn't force it. The ADBV in other hand was almost completely stiff

Aside from around that crimp area, the media looks very solid. Seems pretty durable. I don't like the looks of that crimp though.. is it me, or does the crimp not look completely closed across its entire length?

Seems to definitely be a Purolator Classic clone & it still looks great for 8,500 miles considering it's a cheap filter. No tears! Hopefully the tearing issue is fixed in 2015 & newer filters.
