They are getting rid of circles. Out 73/70 marlton circle is no more as of this week...
Jughandles and circles are more efficient, safer ways of dealing with traffic. Was just down in the DC/NoVA area this past weekend, and all the left turns across 2-3 lanes of traffic are really unsafe.
I wish people knew how to navigate circles smartly, if they did, we could get rid of a LOT of intersections with too many stoplights, and likely prevent a lot of pollution due to idling cars...
Alas, people cant manage to learn to navigate them well, even in NJ...
