Michelin Pilot MXM4

Just bought a 2009 RAV4 Sport V6 and it's going to need new tires pretty soon. Tires in this size, 235/55/18, are pretty pricey but I was just looking on tirebuyer.com and they have Michelin Pilot MXM4 in my size for $95/each after rebate with free shipping! Anyone have any experience with these tires?

I've never owned Michelins and my impression has always been that they are good tires but are overpriced. However, at this price that may not be the case!

After posting I saw they were only 300AA. But people are reporting easily getting 70k miles on them. That doesn't sound right.

It's not particularly great tire... it is the OEM spare tire on my car though...

For that size... you don't have really too many good choices to choose from

I'm leaning toward the new Firestone Destination LE2. Supposed to be an outstanding new tire (discussed in another thread.)

I had the MXM4 on my volvo, they were the O.E.M tire from factory total rubbish imho, bought a set of kumho 4X very satisfied so far.
