Met up with Rand! Canadian/American BITOG G2G

[OVERKILL]

Met up with Rand at the end of last week. He was on vacation about 20 minutes from me. I brought out some Spitfire ale (thank you Trav!) and we had a good old fashioned BITOG meet and greet over a couple of nice cold ones.

It was nice to finally meet Overkill in person.

I just wonder why I had to pick the week it was 90-98F in Ontario with no air conditioning

The car broke 107F in the parking lot while I was at the bank one day.

Had a nice haul of bass.. but fishing was down from last year.. probably all the clear sunny HOT days.

kept 23 bass(1.25 to 3.25lb) and threw back a few 4lb'ers

Thurs it rained some.. and apparently the fishing picked up.

Driving home last night in the 50mph crosswind with flooding and crazy thunderstorms wasnt too fun. one stretch of I-90 between ashtabula and cleveland had about 5" of water on it.

Try hitting that at 60mph... I about had a brown stain problem.

Disclaimer:I'm by no means a connoisseur and I usually drink miller lite or similar after some hot yardwork lol.

Beer notes:
semi-Bitter but decent aftertaste and not skunky
hoppy but not as much as I expected.

I'd like to meet a few more Bitog'ers too. I met Trav, he's a great guy, and truly knows his stuff, in print on the forum, and hands on.
