I wish we northerners had a good plural-possessive term like "y'all". We tend to default to "you guys" which can sound a bit heavy-handed.

My young sons , many years ago would just get a blast LoL out of my Dad's brother and my cousins who we would visit each year over 1400 miles north east of our home. They all live in the north east Tennessee mountains area.
Uncle Pete and his kids knew all about our "YALL" vocabulary and would go heavy with the "You Guys" just to make my boys laugh. Funny. My oldest son is living the life I always dreamed of. He relocated for work back in 2006 to Nashville , Tn. Just like Uncle Pete, he put down his roots and is there to stay. Married with kids now too. So.... Happy Holidays YALL!
