Johnny, are you sure Chrysler has given its blessing to this fluid? From my understanding, Chrysler has not approved any aftermarket service fill ATF+4 fluids. In fact, oil makers are complaining because Chrysler, with ATF+4, has taken the unprecedented step of not just specifying the performance criteria and the additive package components, but also the exact base oil blend that must be used. G-Man II: At this time of day I'm not sure of anything, but this is what our technical department has told us. I have 12 Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealers using this product exclusivly, and Chrylser knows they are using it. They have not told them to stop using it.

I think you are confusing ATF and gear oil. GL4 is a gear oil spec.

This is taken from the link some one posted. It appears that know is approved to make atf+4 except DC. Therefore Amsoil will void your transmission warranty.
