It's factory fill in the new 10 speed in the F150, at least for now.

Not yet. We don't even stock it yet, have not had any issues or people wanting to service the 10 speeds yet.

Question: Is the transmission mentioned here a real 10 speed; possibly a 5 speed with some kind of multiplier?

I'm assuming that it's a CVT with 10 "preferred" rev/torque combinations.

Nope, it's a real 10-speed auto, co-developed with GM.

Yes, ULV stands for Ultra Low Viscosity. The 10R80 is a real 10 speed automoatic transmission. Not a CVT, no multiplier, it is a 10 speed. It is currently being used in the new Raptor and I think will expand to other offerings soon. I was looking through the catalog and there are all sorts of clutch packs in this thing.
