Might have been you and I grampi, we finally buried the hatchet and we both went our ways happily whistling into the wind. I'm not even going to enter an opinion here, I like being happy to well.

Best to you grampi and keep that vehicle waxed/polished/whatever. I remember you was looking for another car, what did you end up with?

Best

I was? I'm still driving the same vehicles I've had for years.

I'm going way back to Oct. or Nov. Seems like you were looking at a Chevy Cruze or a KIA Sportage to replace an '03 MPV.

I wasn't really looking to buy, just more window shopping than anything. I plan on keeping the MPV for a few more years....

If you ask anyone in the detailing world what the longest, most durable wax is they should say Meguiar's #16 Paste Wax. You can't get it anymore in the United States (doesn't pass VOC). A can should last you over 20-30 years. I bought two cans in Canada and had them shipped to my house.

Ever since Meguiar's was bought by 3M, they have released some great products. I'm a big fan of their Ultimate Wax and Natural Shine Interior Detailer.

Their best product out right now is their DA Microfiber System. Do a search on YouTube. Works GREAT!

Whats the difference between ultimate quik wax and ultimate quik detailer other then marketing scam to suck more money from you, and are you suppose to use the UQW first and then apply the UQD afterwards?

The UQdetailer is a lubricant which suspends and allows you to safely wipe off dirt, bird stuff, fingerprints, and junk without harm to the paint. It also offers some short lived paint protection. The UQwax is only for a clean surface and provides more paint protection longevity.

brought the UQwax today, washed the car and applied it

very nice!, i even notice when i washed the car today that the water was sliding right off of it then realized i had used the UQdetailer a few days ago LoL.
