Maxlife in 2008 Focus with AT

Looking at the MaxLife specs, it looks like it's compatible with MerconLV which my trans takes. I have 2 questions. Ford says don't mix Mercon V with Mercon LV. Is this MaxLife claiming to work as a replacement for either of these? Has anyone used this for their Focus or any ford spec'ed for Mercon LV and if so could you tell a difference? Thanks

I had problems with it in my GM.

I used Mercon in my mother's vehicle with no problems.

Use spec fluid.

I use Mobil 1 ATF in my 07 with great results.

I think your 2007 speced a different Mercon. In 2008 they went to Mercon LV which is different and not compatible with Mercon V supposedly.
