Maxlife addpacks 5W vs. 10W?

I have recently switched from Mobil 1 Truck/SUV 5W30 to Maxlife Blend 5W30 due to oil cooler line leaks and have been pleased with how much quieter my truck runs. Is there any known addpack difference or benefit in the 5W30 or 10W30 over the other? Just curious since 10W30 is widely used if the addpack may be more robust!

Nope - the exact same. The 10w30 is just a bit thicker at 40C, that's all...

That and I would expect more VII in the 5w30. If you want to get really robust, see if you can find some of the straight 30 Maxlife. Not sure they make it anymore, but may be some still around.

The 10w30 is going to have a tad thicker of a base oil, but I doubt there's much difference either way.

I have an oil change due in spring and I'm debating throwing in 5w30 (ML) during the summer for the first time instead of veering to something heavier like 10w30 ML...
