Mavis tries to strike again

For many years I've been purchasing my new tires from Discount Tire Direct and now Tire Rack, who took them over. I have the tires delivered to my trusted mechanic who mounts and balances them. I have a large assortment of tires to choose from and never have to worry about unnecessary up selling. There are multiple Mavis Tires near me but I still prefer what I've been doing, it works.

The NTB turned Mavis here in Manchester, NH didn't last long- vacated and demolished. But I found out Town Fair Tire was bought out by Mavis, which has a location on the same street. Hopefully their service remains ok.

And the "word of mouth" is much stronger (effective).

I've accompanied friends to a Town Fair Tire twice; once each in CT + VT.
Both times the shop wasn't crowded but service was inexcusably slow.

I avoid the large corporate tire stores for that very reason.
My local Ford dealership beats their prices too.
