I own a 2005 Dodge 3500 Cummins with a 6Spd manual, I dont like ATF for transmission fluid mostly because there are no EP additives and a lot less AW additives compared to regular tried and true gear oil. I was thinking of making my own fluid by mixing two different fluids to provide a better oil. I am looking for advice on the best fluid combo, how about 2quarts of RL light shockproof gear oil and 4quarts RL C+ ATF? Maybe 2quarts light shockproof and MLT and C+ ATF? IMPUT?!

Yeah...
Royal Purple Synchromax
Red Line MTL
And Amsoil MTF

Have all made their own ATF replacement that makes an MT last longer.

Thanks for the imput guys! By the way this forum ROCKS I love just scrolling through ALL the different forum subjects. I guess I have an unsatiable desire to really find something awesome for the transmission! I cant help always feeling there's got to be something better, right? I'm a Construction Contractor and before a Engineering dropout (really Im cool with it!) but I never lost my love for tinkering, perfecting, analysing. Any how maybe I'll just try RL Mlt, good stuff, I've got RP Synchromax in my 06 Corolla too and it really is a good product. Thanks all.

The Corolla takes 75W90 so Redline MT-90 would be the correct fluid for that application.
