That's a good idea, to help keep all necessary receipts organized.

I have noticed that some cash register receipts are prone to rapid fading. So while your vehicle is under warranty, it might make sense to make a photocopy of the more-important receipts.

i don't keep track of anything other than oil change + trans change intervals on a dry erase board in my garage. When a car hits 100,000 miles i change the belts, hoses, new brake fluid and calipers at the next brake job, rear end oil change. Other than the dry erase board i don't keep any records.
