A soon to be widow lady needs and wants my help. Her husband just bought her a 21 Volvo XC40. He is trying to set her up as he has been given 6 months to live. Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. She knows I am a car maintenance freak but I know nothing about a Volvo. Apparently, there is no owner's manual??? She can't find one in the car. It has 67K miles on it. I looked online for some maintenance guidelines and I've seen plugs at 60 and at 75k. ATF at 90 and and 50K. Coolant 60K. Air Filter 30. Cabin filter 15k. Timing belt at 90K. Are any of you Volvo experts? Maybe I'm gonna have to join a Volvo Forum. There only income is Social Security so taking to the dealership is not the most viable option right now. I'm trying Youtube but not having much luck.

2.0l gas engine.
Has the vehicle been neglected?
Here's a tune up kit listing from FCP (a good company).

You want a cup style wrench for the oil filter housing as it is nearly completely 'surrounded'.
85.5mm x 16 flutes is the size.

FCP has kits with engine flush if you think you need it.

Or break it up as you see fit. Again, see if you can find any repair/maintenance receipts.

I'd use the Volvo plugs for a few bucks more.
They say the wells are deep and a thin walled + magnetic socket is necessary
Also, Castrol Professional 5W-30 A5,B5 oil might be THE preferred oil. Gold jug...highest labeled mileage. I was glad to see it at Walmart.
I'm sure there's an HPL or Amsoil which'd work.

You’ll be best finding a Volvo forum. There are small differences in Volvo love-speak and whispering. A Volvo-compatible code scanner is a must. Sourcing the right parts is pretty important. Fcp euro for a lot of the parts. I have loved mine. Dealer service tends to be pricey but the local dealer I’ve used in a pinch was very competent, did good work, took video evidence to aid in repair decisions.
