Mail order fuel injector cleaning services

Has anyone had any good luck with mailing injectors out to a place for ultra sonic cleaning and testing afterwards like spray patterns, leak check with high psi etc...

Just wondering if anyone is to be avoided as a Google search brings up lot of places

Ah ok didn't know there an expert here as I mostly lurk.

These are from a 1994 Ford f150. think there Bosch EV1 style with fat metal bottom and top half is plastic where fuel rail attaches

Lots of times. Another option is a marine place, they are more numerous here in the Great Lakes.

Have used Trav’s services on a set of Bosch LH-Jet 1.0 injectors which are just about impossible to find so refurbishing existing units was my only option.

The car had been sitting for some years in the garage with old gas in them so they were not in great shape in any case for being 40 years old. Photos below before/after for reference. Price was fair and and I was pleased with the results. Recommend.

Yeah it is a 6cyl it's 4.9(300) in the f150

I cleaned the grime off one and it's gray where is the connector was. Guess time and heat discolored the plastic..

Can I pry the metal bottom away from the the plastic to check for rust? I'm adding couple pics of one of Injectors

@Trav has restored four sets of Volvo 240 Bosch injectors. The difference before and after is noticeable. I highly recommend.

That is okay do not pry on the plastic, those should clean up with no trouble barring any electrical issues.

Ok awesome. They did come from a running truck but seemed to leak down into cylinders after shutting engine off

I'm restoring a 1987 BMW motorcycle that hasn't been run in nearly 30 years. The fuel injectors were non-functional and on the advice of a number of applicable forums I shipped them off to Mr Injector. They were able to restore all three injectors to like-new performance, including before and after flow rates. They were ready to install with new o-rings.
Turn around time was a little over a week and they kept me updated on the progress. I've only used them the one time but I can't complain.
