Was browsing RA like I normally do and came across Mahle brand filters...are they any good? Never heard of them before but they seem to be made well.

Mahle is a reputable company. They are an OE supplier to many German cars and good quality

For the cabin filter, consider the Mahle LAO490 "CareMetix" which has an additional layer to stop the mold

BMW/RR/Mini, Mercedes, Renault, VW/Audi/Bentley/Lamborgihini/Scania/Volvo cars and truck, Cobus, MAN etc. think that they are very efficient so they use them as OE. They are larger than MANN-Hummel.

Blauparts is my Mahle supplier, they are a few miles down the road from me, and I think they generally make quality products. Their cartridge oil filters are among the best I have seen. I have heard a few people knock their can oil filters but I have never used them nor do I plan on it.

+1. I picked up one to try from RA for my Civic. Very nicely constructed. Price was great too. If I wasn't a Fram Ultra Fan, I would be using more Mahle.

I mainly use these in the wife's Volvo. If they aren't available, I go with Mann but I don't think the quality is quite the same. Lots of wave in the pleats compared to Mahle, which also costs a bit less anyways.
