Magnefine install on 04 Ranger

I'm going to install a Magnefine filter on my 04 Ranger. I'm not sure which way the fluid is moving. There is a hard line that comes out of the transmission into the radiator, out of the radiator to the transmission cooler, out of transmission cooler to transmission.

Does the fluid flow first to the radiator or the transmission cooler?

If all else fails, I guess I could just disconnect the lines at the cooler and see which way it flows, but I'm trying to avoid any more mess than I have to.

Are you going to install the Magnefine in the output or the return line?

I used the return line at the transmisson on all mine because I had over 15K miles on all 4 vehicles.
