Kid was asking about it and we went looking around for it and found some at a local Indian grocery store. I think this:

The packaging was a bit different. Mine had a US nutrition label sticker covering the domestic nutrition info. For some reason, the flap was trimmed on each package, and I’m not sure what was on the flap. It was four servings with two connected pairs of their “Tastemaster” packets in a single bag. It was a bit difficult to tell what one serving was since the blocks were unevenly sized and some were broken. And the one I bought had a suggested discounted price - 58 rupees (from a supposed 60) which my info says converts to 60 cents (US). I paid $2.99 for it. It sounds really cheap in India, but those buying them at import prices must be doing it out of nostalgia.

Looks like those non calorie things my girls ate all the time in highschool. I didn't care for them at all.

My kid loves these Maggi noodles.

I'll have them too sometimes, but I usually add other stuff to it - carrots, green onions, etc.

Everything is more expensive imported than local. I remember the dollar priced drinking water in Hawaii ended up being the exotic brand in the lower 48. Also the cheapest Asian instant ramen like Indomee being the expensive exotic brand outside of Indonesia.

If US can make better quality stuff than Maruchan or Nissin Top (like Nissin's own DeMae in Asia) we won't have to put up with the expensive import stuff and I would gladly support local production. Shin Ramen is getting a bit expensive.

Indomie Mi Goreng can be really cheap. They’re the largest maker of instant noodles in the world.

The label for the Maggi said only for sale in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. So they were definitely some sort of gray market import.
