Got a constant on (not flashing) service engine soon light with a "MAF sensor high frequency" code stored. Light came on last night, I undid the gas cap and really cranked it on tight, and the light was out this morning with that code stored. Does high frequency/voltage mean lower than normal airflow or vice versa? I was thinkin it could be the EVAP pulling air past the gas cap and therefor not enough air was flowing past the meter for the current operating conditions at the time the code was set.
I can get a MAF sensor from the junkyard for cheap if need be.
