Mach-E GT

Last week I saw three on one day. One there were a few people around it talking. Also pretty sure it was a Lucid that pulled out in front of me and disappeared so fast I wasn’t sure. But it had that rear roof. Later I was parked next to a Wrangler plug in EV charging at a free spot. Looked it over, pretty nice. Of course I would like any of them but it’s a lot of money.

He starts driving at about 21:40. You get to see part of the beautiful Northern CA scenery.
People will love this car, I'm sure. I see more and more running around.

I've seen them and I like Mustangs. Not a fan and it has zero to do with EV. To me looks pedestrian. Best way I can state it. I appreciate a Camaro even though I don't want one. The exterior screams bad xxx and there is a lust. Same for some Mustang models. This one does not.

The poster who said they look better in the flesh is right. To me it is attractive, it is not ugly and it is not beautiful, but it is above average and it certainly looks better than a Tesla to me which is the obvious comparison.

This car looks much better in person than it does online or in photos.

Looks like a fastback mustang, all the cues.

I think they did a nice job with it.

My next vehicle will be a hybrid Maverick, that checks a lot of boxes for me, and I seen a few on the streets this past week.

I ordered my Mach E on May 24th. Finally got it on the 17th of this month. Something about a chip. I got the Select model because I do not like the glass roof on the Premier in Arizona. With the comfort/technology package it is a lot nicer than the basic. I like it. My wife is afraid to drive it. I have been using one pedal most of the time, if my wife were to drive it I would turn that off. I have to fix the wiring for a 240v outlet, but I have managed with 120v charging so far. I don't think I see a reason to get Ford's expensive charger for $ 799.

Enjoy your E 'Stang! Mind if I ask how much you paid and what MSRP was?
I had a NEMA 14-50 installed in the garage to charge our Model 3. It pulls 32A and adds about 29 MPH.

Pics please!

I prefer the looks of this over a BMW i3, hands down. The BMW rides on bicycle tires, it’s also tall, but it’s even more narrow. Ford got it largely correct.

I think they look fantastic in person. My one gripe is calling it a Mustang. I understand why they did it. But, I think something like "Galax-E" would have been better. Let the boomers have their nostalga for the Galaxie name coming back (my mom's first car was a 64 Galaxie 500), while exposing new generations to the name.
