Which would you run in the summer, and which would you save for the winter? I am doing an OC soon and have also heard that EP isn't that great of an oil, at least no better than AFE. And both are 0w20. I have 1 jug of each..

AFE winter as gas is usually cheaper and EP for summer
IMO EP IS better than AFE.
EP is rated to 15,000 miles while AFE is not. I would think that EP is the more quality oil of the two.
That's what I am thinking, but the uoa's on EP is not spectacular. Maybe those who had the uoa's done were driving hard and had excessive idling!?
I personally think that both are high quality. AFE, you could go say 8k and UOA to see if you could go farther

What is a "spectacular" UOA? Was the lubricant still fit for continued use? Were there any concerning contaminant levels or signs of coolant ingress? That's the purpose of a UOA.
EP is 60-70% PAO, which is higher than AFE. Both are excellent products but I would say the EP 0w-20 is the better of the two.

Nope, just trying to find which oil to try out next.
Splitting hairs... both are just fine... EP for extended drains, which you probably won't due for warranty reasons...
EP has 18% more phos and 16% more zinc than AFE (as does standard M1). I wonder why?
