Isn't Lubeguard Red just more moly for the transmission? I have tried it but, wondered what is this stuff? I bought moly supplement for my auto tranny but, not Lubeguard Red. I just bought moly in a tube that comes in a somewhat chunky, solid, paste-form.
LG worked for me on a rebuilt tranny dodge, was starting off in 2nd gear, one red bottle of lg, and now it shift properly

That's the one. Keep in mind they recommend 1 ounce of LG red/qt of ATF. So you might need more than a bottle for your transmission. I just had my pan dropped and filter changed, I plan on doing a line flush once the weather breaks and then add Lubegard Red to my 93 Aerostar transmission.

Yea I was looking at my manual and amsoil's website, and it shows my tranny is around 8.5L capacity, but I always thought it was more than that.

In my unscientific experience, many "rebuilt" transmission fail to last anything close to as long as the original transmission did the first time around.
Just because those shops toss a bottle of Lubeguard pick-a-color in, doesn't mean the stuff works as claimed.

Just got back in, checked my mileage again since i put the Lubegard in the other day,,got 17 mpg, its up almost 1 mpg, now I have a range of 550 miles easy on the van. The dealer put all mopar parts back in it, so this tranny should last. I also got a new tranny cooler installed. So, when u go somewhere to have it flushed or pan drop, make sure they flush thru the cooler, my old one was clogged , thus my tranny died due to heat which kills 99 percent of all tyranny's. I read all the testimonials on the lubegard webb site. Im usually not real big on oil additives, but this one worked and the OEMs only recommend this product period for tyranny's
the red bottle, I just used in my dodge, it works
I went back for more LG red, my tranny holds 16 qts, so I added extra to cover it..............amen
This stuff works. I swear to god. It is not the placebo effect at all. I drove 60 miles today, all city and country. The shifts are extremely smooth, even under higher throttle. Before, the downshift from 3rd to 2nd under heavy throttle was very fast, and would kind of "slam",as would the upshift under same conditions. now it's a nice and smooth downshift. I can't believe it. 1st to 2nd can barely be felt. Awesome stuff.

I dont plan to take out any fluid, I mean its only gonna be about 8-9 oz.
