Has anyone tried Lucas Power Steering stop leak in their systems before? I have a 2003 Ford Ranger with a very slow leak, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I have used their oil stabilizer before, but never power steering. Thanks

I used it in my cavalier, not to stop a leak, but to help weight the steering and eliminate a very annoying dead zone when centered. It worked, and steering feel is a nice weight now. The stuff is very thick, almost like honey.

Hmm. May be worth a try. I been looking over the net trying to find something bad about it, and nobody has any bad words. I just hate to put it in there and cause more problems than I already have.

I put the AutoRX in my Toyota with a very small power steering fluid leak over a year ago and it still leaks just like it always did.

Lucas PSF additive usually slows down the leak, so feel free to use it.

I have seen it help a variety of PS rack leaks.

However, make sure your PS hoses are okay. If those leak, replace them, because they will burst open.
