I run this class of filters on the 240 wagon which has a remote filter mount. Double the oil and flirtation of a Mann W917, 33% more than the XG8A.

The filter was dented during shipment and will be replaced.

I am a Volvo 240 enthusiast. Currently for the last 22 years been driving a 940 and a 240 wagon for many years before that. Best friend has a 240 wagon now. Have used either Mann or Mahle filters for years. Can you show how this remote filter works? Just a small slice of 240 porn please.

The remote mount is supported by a post that uses the three holes in the head that were tapped for California Emissions air circulation stuff. Thus the entire assembly moves with the engine.

Canton Racing Products remote mount, block adaptor, steel braided lines, AN fittings, gaskets.

The oil lines are secured to a nut on the exhaust manifold heat shield via a rectangular support that dissipates heat.

VDO OP and OT sensors and gauges. The set up has allowed me to learn more about the relationship between OP, OT, HTHS viscosity, etc.

The only modification to this picture was a ground wire from the OP sender to the head. There is too much resistance going through the mount and post. The resistance wears out the sender.
