Not comparable to fleetguard. I bought their version fo the fl1a to look at it and it is very cheaply made.
Furthermore it only cost $2.35 including tax and was billed as replacement for the fleetguard and donaldson equivalents that cost over $10 and showed the quaility I was looking for.
Luberfiner is another of Champion Laboratories brands, as are Lee and Champ, and SuperTech, STP, Bosch Premium, Mobil 1 filters are made for the owners of those brands. Luberfiner is mainly for heavy engines...big trucks, etc.
No, they manufacture different types for each of their customers. Cost differences reflect quality of the filter material and other construction differences.
I have one cut open on my site along with a dozen others. All in all of what we have available I believe it is one of the best. At least it is solid, well glued and has a rubber to by-pass valve.
