Lubegard Engine flush

I am just wondering if anyone has used Lubegard engine flush and what kind of results have you obtained.

I am looking to switch to amsoil in my vehicle with 62,000. I have been running mobil 1 the last 6,000.

I am looking at either this or the amsoil flush..... any opinions ???

Auto-rx would be better. But if you insist on a solvent type flush fogetaboutit.

I have used Amsoil flush many times in the past. I am sure it works OK. I can't see Lubegard being much better, but I don't know anything about it. It appears to be a typical solvent flush.

But auto-rx is a much better chemistry.

Sorry, but I don't see AutoRX as a much better chemistry. There is nothing typical about Lubegard products.

Regardless of which product you use, follow the directions.

If the engine is dirty, spend a little more & Auto-Rx it.

Nothing mystical. The Lubegard Engine flush is just not in the engine for very long. I'd be at least tempted to do the idle thing. Then shut it down and restart the car the next day to repeat the idle process, sort of a longer soak thing.
