Lubegard Bio/Tech application discrepancy?

Ok, so I've purchased a 15oz bottle of Lubegard Bio/Tech engine protectant for use in my Volvo and was about to put it in with my OCI tonight. The instructions on the bottle as well as Lubegard's website are pretty strait forward:

My Volvo has a ~4.3 qt sump and dumping "One bottle"(15oz, mind you) in seemed like overkill to me. And being that Lubegard also makes a 10oz bottle of the same product...this kinda rienforced my curiosity. So, I called Lubegard. The nice lady on the the phone was very receptive as I explained my situation.
She told me, yes, 15oz is too much for a 4+qt sump and Bio/Tech is intended for use @ 1oz/qt. Unfortunately, I didn't push the issue on why this information isn't on the bottle or their website.

But if its true...This kinda changes things for those who thought Bio/Tech was too expensive for use @ every OCI.

Yeah because I put three ounces per qt in my truck! I doubt it will blow up or anything, but still.

How does your truck run with it in there? And, yea...since they recommend 3oz/qt for HD applications I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I sent International Lubricants an email last night regarding this problem. But instead of waiting for a reply, I called them again today to attempt to get an accurate answer. This time I was told that the correct mixure for Bio/Tech is 3oz. per quart which coincides with the bottle and the website. At this point I can only assume that someone had mistakenly given me the mixure for the Lubegard ATF protectant(red bottle), which happens to be 1oz/qt.
