This morning I cant resist temptation to put Amsoil PI cleaner inside my car. I noticed the Amsoil PI is a bit thick, compared to other fuel system cleaner even compared to SI-1.

I start driving for 3 minutes and stop at traffic light, then I noticed the car idle is not smooth like misfire/1 plug die.
I was thinking why it was so coincidence, but then I just continue driving to reach office.

A few hours later I go out driving for about one hour, and I can feel the throttle response has improved, and the car idle is fine. But then several hours later, I drive again for short distance, and I can feel sometimes the idle is a bit rough again.

Just wondering if those symptoms caused by Amsoil PI, anyone have similar experience with using Amsoil PI ?

Sounds to me like you have some cleaning going on. Let it clean. Repeat if necessary.

Or the idle thing is not related.

Lube inside? PI is not a UCL, but PEA is not necessarily a bad UCL.

Yeah i had an engine misfire(code) when i had Amsoil Pi in the tank. And car was running rough the whole time.

Thats just my experience.I wouldn't say its not a good product.

Just an update, it seems the thing clear the carbon very well. I got the sharpest throttle response so far compared with other fuel system cleaner (Regane is pretty close), even though I do not clean the MAF and throttle body
again.

I guess this cleaner cause the ECU to lean out the combustion, but I have not got chance to check through OBD, but so far the fuel consumption seems improve significantly.

The rough idle has decreased but sometimes still noticeable during traffic light stop.
