Just use regular brake grease-- the stuff with all the nasty MoS2 in it that wil stain everything it touches. CRC stuff is fine. There are upgrade products with ceramic that are good too, but this part doesn't need super high temp capability as much as it needs wash-off resistance and stay-in-place ability.
