Picked up some of this stuff for the rear axle in my Jeep Wrangler. Do you guys know if it has and limited slip additive in it already? The Durablend 80w90 and the regular Valvoline stuff sitting next to it said "limited slip" right on the front of the bottle, but the 85w140 does not. It does say this on the bottle and on the MSDS sheet on their website

" Valvoline DuraBlend Gear Oils are outstanding partial-synthetic sulfur-phosphorus, extreme pressure gear lubricants. They provide enhanced performance in both low-temperature and high-temperature operating conditions.
These products are recommended for conventional rear axles, limited slip rear axles and transmissions requiring EP gear lubes under high speed, high load, high torque, high horsepower conditions."

If it doesn't, does anyone know how much additive the dana44 axles in the new JK's need?

Keys words... "limited slip rear axles"...

I would use it as is and monitor for chatter.

If there is any chatter, add 4 ounces of additive and keep driving.
