i wouldnt run regular m1 more than 7500 miles.. uoa's have shown that its not a great idea.. now i am not sure on the EP (15k mile oil)... i ran regular m1 to 5000-6500 miles on the same filter. usually around 5500-6000 miles per oci

Mike are your saying it's not a "great idea" to run M1 longer than 7500 miles in any vehicle, under any conditions? Would you be so kind as to post some of these UOA's, along with your detailed analysis in order to show it's never a "great idea" to run M1 past 7500 miles?

I believe Mike's reply is based upon Mobil recommendation not to exceed OEM recommended OCI interval with standard Mobil 1 product line.

No, he clearly states: ".. uoa's have shown that its not a great idea..". I would like to see these UOA's and his anlysis of them. That should be fairly simple for him to do.
