That is the right one, that spring you see right in the center, it's a pain to put on, I could take it back to the reman place for him to do it for free but it's a long drive and I rarely head out that ways, is there any way for me to do it myself? use brake spring pliers?

and I know how to post pictures, I just don't want to setup a photobucket, etc and post a link. If we could upload directly from our computer, that would be much easier

There was an old lady who swallowed a spiper, that wriggled and wriggled and wriggled inside her. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.

So you can't be bothered to post a picture which will assist in helping you? Got it.

It takes seconds to setup a Photobucket account, and others have already told you about Imgur which doesn't even require setting up an account and is as easy as attaching a file to an email. But even that apparently requires too much effort.

@nick, i'm aware of imgur, just never used it, but I'll give it a try next time, thanks. it's not just photobucket, i don't want to have a collection of pictures online, and i'd delete them anyways after posting, too much work creating an account, uploading and sharing the link, and then deleting it, as I don't want pictures of my car publicly online

i read about that spring, it's a PITA, pain, it is possible but it will take hours and I'll just drive back, gas is cheap, but my camry has issues too and I onlyh have these 2 vehicles (the rogue isn't mine, it's a relative's but I still work on it from time to time and they give me permission to change their oil, etc) so due to only having access to 2 vehicles ,and both have issues, I dont want to drive too far. the drive to work for me is 12 miles one way, so its not bad at all.

Why would you want to delete a picture of a caliper anyway? Let someone else who is researching the same topic benefit from the same help you received.

Tinypic pictures don't get deleted, I have links to pictures from 2 years ago on here that are still up here.

But they aren't traced back to you, your name or email isn't associated to them. And you don't have to show your license plate on here. I don't get why people are paranoid about that sort of stuff. Pictures of my car with its license plate are on here. I haven't been tracked down by a psycho BITOG member..., yet.

I am a long-standing member of BITOG, and I have my own site (tegger.com). Plus I have the latest, professional, paid-for and properly-licensed version of Photoshop.

PM me and I will send you my valid email address. You can then email me your photos. You did say that you wanted the process to be just like attaching images to an email, and that is exactly what I'm offering to you now. For free, as a service to a fellow member of BITOG.

I will remove any identifiable information from the images themselves, including whatever information may be embedded in the code of the files (such as location, camera model, etc.), and post the images on my site for you. After the issue in question is resolved, I will delete the photos from my site.

As soon as he transmits the images to you, I will be able to finally lock onto his location, and shoot him with my Romulan Disruptor.

He will never pester our beloved forum again.

Muahahahaahahhhaahaaahahahaaa!

Of course, he won't. Notice how he's abandoned this thread?

Nope. I looked back at a post of mine over 2 years old. Tinypic photos still active.

An 8 page thread over low brake fluid? This isnt rocket science to figure out.

I got friends yakking their head off about a "problem".

I say talking about it, isnt going to fix it. Get down and dirty and find the culprit. (low brake pads I presume)

Close this thread, leave it around for posterity?

*bangs head on desk a few times*

Really? Ok, I missed that. I thought it was good for 30 days.

Surprised they would hold onto pics that long.

i'm going to try to post a picture soon, but I brought the spring back to the caliper place, but they said I was missing this other bracket thing. I'll provide a pic later so you know what i'm talking about, it's behind that e brake spring. ANy tips on how to take that off? SO I'm going oto have to make another trip to the caliper place and give it to him, but another issue, is, the car has been on the driveway outside, and it's been raining a lot and the car hasn't been used in almost a month, and the calipers have gotten rustier, not just the one on the right rear (the wheel is currently off, the others have wheels on) but all the calipers have gotten rusty from sitting in the rain and maybe the frost, etc. IS this bad, and is this typical for cars that have been sitting outside, and should I resurface all the rotors again, or no, the rust will come off after I drive the vehicle again and begin braking since the friction from braking will cause the rust to scrape off? Thanks.

Here is the picture of the brake caliper/brake to the taurus. To prove I'm not a troll, and also becasue I have a lot of time this week as I'm not going to work next week and have been on Christmas break, so I've had lots of time to figure this out and do errands, but on a typical weekend/day, I wouldn't have had time to do this.

Wow! E20 has my renewed respect! New coil spring and all in that picture! That rotor looks terrible. How long has it been sitting?
