I am sure some of you are wondering why it is I always go back to the vehicle tire placard. This is a good example.
First, the original tire size for a 2004 Nissan Maxima SL was 225/55R17 95V - and the pressure specified on the placard was 33 psi.
If that tire was replaced by a 245/35R20 - which happens to be 95 Load Index in an Extra Load, then that means the tire requires more inflation pressure than what is on the vehicle tire placard - 39 psi.
Underinflated tires are more prone to wet traction issues - and that might completely explain Rohan's problem. But Rohan didn't measure the inflation pressure like I asked him - nor did he actually look at the vehicle tire placard to see what was written there. Folks, if you expect help, you've got to supply reliable information. Otrherwise, we are guessing.
