Oops, somehow I overlooked the 7 passenger requirement.

I know what you were referring to, but I DONT know what the car makers are thinking sometimes. I.E Nissan Cube? jmo.

The Saturn Outlook is also the same platform...as well as the Buick Enclave

From what I have read this is mostly a 2008/2009 issue, and does not effect the 2007's as much. It is a function of oil quality, and change interval of the previous owner...so find one that has good service records.
Also, the 2009's on up did get a bump in power, but at the price of DI...which we all seem to agree will be a headache in intake valve cleanings in the future.
I am dead-set on only getting a 2007 version.

A Suburban or Tahoe will fit the bill, and since you don't drive it much fuel mileage doesn't really matter.
