What is more important, proper coffee and oil, or just oil.

Wow, you must be living in the outback or something. Does UPS or FedEx charge you more for delivery? or not deliver at all?

If you have neighbor I'd probably work with them to buy stuff together. Heck, probably grow my own vegetables or make most of the food stuff myself.

Anyways, assume that most car can take 5w20 instead of 0w20, and assume that 0w20 is only better than 5w20 in fuel economy. The extra cost of oil-store.com's 0w20 is not worth the fuel saving over the local store's 5w20, especially when they are on sale on a regular basis for 99c to $1.99

Just my 2c.

Can't have a garden, where I live in Government quarters. UPS and FedEx deliver here, I just choose to not use a credit card to buy things when I can pay cash.

Mine actually is. It's a 2008 xB (Camry engine). It calls for either 0W20 or 5W20, but in the manual, suggests the use of 0W20 over 5W20.

Well, when you click on the Valvoline link it's hyping their SJ rated Synpower and erroneously claims it meets GM4718m...which it does not !

Color me skeptical. And this is supposed to be a specialized site??

What was the cost per quart before shipping, if I may ask, xBa380?

Gee, sorry I even bothered asking!

Nah, no I'm not! Thanks for the reply XBa380. Good luck with that run of 0w20. If my ride was spec'd for 5w20, I'd order a case or two. Where else would one find PP 0w20 without spending time and gasoline looking for it if you didn't buy at oil-store.com?

Johnny: nice answer!

dkryan, no problem!

I actually just put the PP in! Im going to run a UOA at the end of my OCI (first UOA!), and see what results we get.

:)

MojaveK20,

Do they have stores in the government quarters? Driving 100 miles to buy anything less than $100 seems hard core to me (unless it is a "vacation" or a group errant trip).

Closest store with more than baloney and white bread(truck stop) is 100 miles. I make bi-weekly trips to Vegas for groceries, beverage, ammo etc. I have a spare starter, dist cap, coil, alternator, water pump, spark plugs, fan belts, fluids etc. When I lived in Texas it was the same situation. When you live in the sticks you gotta have back up
