Looking for Free MDI File Viewer

I downloaded a free MDI file viewer a year or so ago that did the job for just viewing, but seems it had some kind of time limit on the use ... went to open a MDI file and got some kind of "Expiration Message".

Searched the 'net for MDI file viewers and all I find is junk ... one had some adware in it (SpySweeper detected it) and another was nice, but free use expired in about 5 days and couldn't reload it.

Anyone know where I could find a safe download (ie, no adware or spyware in it) of a MDI file viewer?

.MDI isn't even very well supported by it's creator (hint: Microsoft Document Image). I THINK Office 2007 provides support for reading those files, but not by default...so you'll need to specifically choose that support in the custom install screen.

I'm just looking for a good 3rd party free shareware MDI file viewer I can download and use just to view MDI files. My old MS Office doesn't even have it as part of the Office suite.

Yes, I loaded that one not long ago, and after about 5 ~ 7 days if you try to use it there's a pop-up that says if you want to use it you have to buy it. Not really "free" as they advertise it to be. If you delete the install off your computer and try to reinstall it, it knows and will still want you to purchase the program.

Thanks for the help LC ... I'll try that one on www.tucows.com and see if it loads. The .exe has same name, but is about 1/2 the size. Maybe it's the older version.

I just tried to load this one, and my Webroot SpySweeper picked up some 'Adware software' called "give4free" (advertiser pop-up software) embedded inside the .exe upon the file extraction.

Can't load it from the .exe unless I accept this adware ... nice. Maybe it's OK to load and will just result in add pop-up annoyance ... safe otherwise ??

Anyone know?
